The most important thing to remember about truck freight is that you MUST inspect the package at the time of delivery. If the box has any damage, or if there is any reason for you to be at all concerned about damage, please write "PRODUCT DAMAGED" clearly on the sheet that they ask you to sign. This simply insures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to take care of the problem.
If you are ordering a very large item, please keep in mind that you may need a couple of people to help unload it. Alternatively, most truck freight companies offer additional services to help you move items from the truck into your house. Once we email you the tracking information you can contact the shipper directly to inquire about additional services. You would be responsible for directly paying the truck freight carrier for any additional services.

I love this swing set. I don't know how people can say it is flimsy. It is not. The beam across the top is very sturdy and the products used are quality. The picnic table seat could use more support. We just added a 2x4 underneath for extra support. The rope ladder is kind of pointless because it doesn't lead anywhere but the kids still like it. It was fairly easy to put together. As long as you get the step for the main poles correct.
Service and delivery comments:
You have to wait quite a while because this product is built for you when you order it. So it will take a couple of months just for them to make it THEN it gets shipped. Need to think way ahead. Other than that it arrived in perfect condition.

I love this set. I did a lot of research before buying this. There were some references to screw sizes that were incorrect and although it says it is pre-drilled there were some things that still needed to be pre-drilled. We assembled stairs, dormers and rock climbing wall during the week and then put it all together on the weekend which saved us some time. The bench for the sand box needed to be reinforced or else it would probably break. Also the rope wall at the back really doesn't serve any good use-it goes nowhere. I found the directions easy as long as you read them well and paid close attention to the first step with the beams. This will give my children years of fun.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

We downloaded the assembly directions from the internet. The directions were backwards which made it difficult for an experienced carpenter to assemble the play set. The play set is a bit flimsy and we had to purchase additional bolts in order to complete the assembly. The bolts provided did not cut it. Having to run to the hardware store 2 times and having the directions written backwards made this project take almost sixteen hours to complete. A bit disturbing and frustrating. The companies technical writers should test the directions before publishing them.
