My 12 yo son loves this scooter! It's durable and can be ridden on the grass too. Be aware that the instructions for this model DO NOT include how to attach the seat (but it was fairly straight forward) or that the tire adapter to inflate the rear tire is stored in the end of one of the hand grips.\nAlso, the battery only lasts 45 min.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
